- Nothing can be charged automatically, because we have nothing to charge. Payment details are only taken if you decide to continue.
- Then £0.99/month if you choose to carry on. That is the ongoing price — it does not rise after the first year.
- No setup fee and no hidden charges of any kind.
- You bring your own domain. Traxio does not sell domain names, so you will need one you already own or register elsewhere.

A UK company, honestly described
“UK web hosting” usually means one of two claims: the company is British, or the servers are. They matter differently. Server location sets a latency floor that caching mostly papers over; company location decides the currency on your invoice, the law behind your terms, the hours your support keeps, and who is accountable when billing goes wrong. Is Traxio a UK company?
Yes — Traxio is UK-based and UK-run, prices in pounds, invoices in pounds, and writes its terms under English law in plain English. Support and documentation are written here, not outsourced.
Where are the servers?
Montreal, Canada — and we say so rather than implying otherwise, because plenty of “UK hosting” is marketed from behind a CDN with the servers anywhere at all. For a typical UK visitor the round trip adds tens of milliseconds, which page caching and sensible images dwarf in practice; our network page covers the honest trade-off in detail.
Why does being a UK company matter if the servers aren't here?
Because the things that go wrong with hosting are commercial, not geographic: billing disputes, renewal surprises, terms you cannot parse, support in a distant timezone. A UK company under UK consumer law, charging in GBP with no currency drift on your invoice, is accountable in ways that matter more than server postcode for most small sites.
Is £0.99 the real price or an introductory one?
It is the price. There is no multi-year prepayment to unlock it and no higher renewal rate waiting — the pricing page exists mostly to explain why that is unusual in this industry.
What about GDPR and my visitors' data?
