Use your own domain with Traxio
Your hosting runs on a domain you already own, like yourname.co.uk. Connecting it takes a few minutes, and you only do it once.
Three steps, once
Most people use nameservers. It’s the simplest way, and it means your website, email and SSL records are set up for you.
Log in to your domain registrar
The company you registered the domain with. Open the domain’s own settings page.
Change the nameservers
Replace every existing nameserver with Traxio’s: ns1.traxio.co.uk, ns2.traxio.co.uk and ns3.traxio.co.uk. Save.
Wait, then check
Give it 15–30 minutes and check the nameservers have changed. SSL is issued automatically once they have.

Domain questions
Does Traxio hosting include a domain name?
No. The £0.99 hosting doesn’t include a domain, so you’ll use one you already own. If you don’t have one yet, you’ll need to register one before you start.
Do I have to move my domain to Traxio?
No. Your domain stays with whoever you registered it with. You only change where it points.
Nameservers or A records: which should I use?
Nameservers, unless you have a reason not to. They let Traxio manage your website, email and SSL records automatically. Use A records if you want to keep your DNS somewhere else, such as Cloudflare.
How long does it take to start working?
Usually a few hours, occasionally up to 24, while the change spreads across the internet’s DNS caches. Why DNS changes take time
Can my email stay with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

Can I change the domain on my account later?
It isn’t recommended. DNS Guard keeps checking the domain your account was set up with, so a different domain is safest on a new account.
