Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: January 2025

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using Traxio services. It applies to all customers and protects the integrity of our infrastructure and other users.

Prohibited Content

The following content is not permitted on Traxio hosting:

  • Illegal content of any kind
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance, reported to authorities
  • Copyrighted material without licence
  • Hate speech, incitement to violence, or discriminatory content
  • Malware, ransomware, spyware, or phishing pages
  • Warez, software cracks, or piracy tools

Prohibited Activities

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Operating mail relays or open proxies
  • Cryptocurrency mining
  • Running IRC bots, botnets, or DDoS tools
  • Port scanning or network probing without authorisation
  • Excessive resource usage that impacts other customers
  • Reselling Traxio resources without written permission

Resource Usage

On shared hosting plans, "unlimited" resources are subject to fair use. Accounts consuming disproportionate CPU, memory, or bandwidth that impact other customers may be subject to resource limits or account review. We will contact you before taking action where possible.

Enforcement

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination without refund. We report illegal activity to relevant authorities. Abuse can be reported to us via the contact page.
