Creating an Email Account

Setting up a new mailbox on your domain through DirectAdmin.

  1. Log in to DirectAdmin.
  2. Open the Email Accounts section.
  3. Click Create Account, choose the part before the @ symbol, and set a password.
  4. Set a mailbox storage quota, or leave it at the default.
  5. Save — the address is active immediately.

Once created, connect the mailbox to an email client using the IMAP/SMTP settings shown on the account's details page in DirectAdmin. See Setting Up Email in Outlook for a worked example.
