Does this match what you’re seeing?

  • A default hosting or placeholder page appears
  • WordPress is installed but the domain shows something else
  • Your uploaded site doesn’t appear

1. A placeholder index.html

New accounts can include an index.html placeholder in public_html. The server gives index.html priority over index.php, so even after installing WordPress the placeholder may still show.

Fix: in System Info & Files then File Manager, open public_html and delete or rename the placeholder index.html (check it isn’t your own file first).

2. Your site is in a subfolder

If you uploaded a folder, your site is at yourdomain.co.uk/foldername/. Move the folder’s contents up into public_html. Where to upload your website: public_html explained

3. It’s your registrar’s parking page

If the page mentions your registrar, domain parking or “this domain may be for sale”, the domain isn’t pointing at Traxio. How to check your domain is pointing to Traxio

4. It’s your old host
