Does this match what you’re seeing?
- Your website shows an account suspended page
- Email has stopped sending and receiving
- DirectAdmin login is refused
A suspended account takes the website and email offline but keeps the data — for a limited time.
Reason 1: an unpaid invoice (most common)
An invoice unpaid 7 days after it was issued suspends the account. This includes the first invoice after the free trial.
To restore it: log in to the client area, open Invoices and pay the outstanding one. The account is unsuspended when payment is recorded.
Important: On day 14 after the invoice date the account is terminated and everything is permanently deleted. If you need your data but don’t plan to continue, contact Traxio through the contact form before then.
Reason 2: your domain isn’t pointing to Traxio (first 30 days only)
During an account’s first 30 days, DNS Guard checks that its domain points to Traxio. An account at least 48 hours old whose domain hasn’t pointed to Traxio for 24 hours in a row can be suspended, and you’re emailed when it happens. DNS Guard: why your domain needs to point to Traxio
To restore it: point the domain at Traxio. The account is restored automatically at the next check, with no ticket needed. Account suspended because your domain isn’t pointing to Traxio
Reason 3: acceptable use
Accounts can be suspended to protect the server or other customers — for example, a hacked site sending spam, or content that breaks the acceptable use policy. You’ll receive an email explaining why.
To restore it: follow the instructions in that email. For a compromised site that usually means cleaning it up first. My website has been hacked: what to do
Reason 4: resource abuse
An account repeatedly overwhelming shared resources may be restricted. Normal sites don’t come close; this is usually a runaway script, a stuck cron job or an attack. “508 Resource Limit Is Reached” and slowdowns under load
Not sure which?
Check the email address on your client area account for a notice, including spam folders. The client area shows whether there are unpaid invoices.
