Outlook comes in several versions, but the settings are the same for all of them.

New Outlook for Windows
- Open Outlook and go to Settings → Accounts → Email accounts.
- Select Add account and enter your email address.
- If Outlook suggests a provider, choose IMAP (it may be under “Choose provider” or “Advanced”).
- Enter the IMAP and SMTP settings from the table, with your full email address as the username for both.
- Select Continue and finish.
Classic Outlook for Windows
- Go to File → Add Account.
- Enter your address, open Advanced options, tick Let me set up my account manually, and select Connect.
- Choose IMAP.
- Incoming:
mail.yourdomain.co.uk, port 993, encryption SSL/TLS. - Outgoing:
mail.yourdomain.co.uk, port 465 with SSL/TLS (or 587 with STARTTLS). - Enter the mailbox password and select Connect.
Outlook for Mac
- Outlook → Settings → Accounts, then + and New Account.
- Enter your address. If prompted to choose a provider, choose IMAP/POP.
- Choose IMAP and enter the server settings, making sure Use SSL is ticked for both.
If Outlook keeps asking for the password
Check the username is the full address, not just the name part, and that the password matches the one in DirectAdmin. Outlook keeps asking for the password
Note: Outlook sometimes tries to set up the account as Exchange or Microsoft 365. Traxio mailboxes are IMAP, so always choose IMAP when given the option.
