Most Android phones use the Gmail app for email; Samsung phones may also have Samsung Email. The settings are identical.

In the Gmail app
- Open Gmail, tap your profile picture, then Add another account.
- Choose Other.
- Enter your full email address and tap Manual setup.
- Choose Personal (IMAP).
- Enter the mailbox password.
- Incoming server settings: username your full address, server
mail.yourdomain.co.uk, port 993, security SSL/TLS. - Outgoing server settings: tick Require sign-in, username your full address, server
mail.yourdomain.co.uk, port 465, security SSL/TLS. - Choose sync options and finish.
In Samsung Email
- Open Samsung Email, go to Settings → Add account → Others.
- Enter your address and password, then choose Manual setup and IMAP account.
- Enter the settings from the table and select Sign in.
Tips
- Menu names vary slightly between Android versions and phone makers; the fields are always the same.
- If the app suggests “Exchange” or “POP3”, choose IMAP instead.
