What happens after my 30-day free trial?

Quick answerBeginnerUpdated

Short answer

An invoice for £0.99 appears in your client area and the hosting carries on as normal once you pay it. Nothing is charged automatically, because no card is held during the trial. If you don’t want to continue, don’t pay — the account is suspended after a few days and removed later.

The timeline after the invoice is due:

  • Day 0 — invoice due. The site keeps running.
  • Around day 7 — unpaid: the account is suspended and the site stops loading.
  • Around day 14 — still unpaid: the account and its data are removed.

If you want to leave, cancelling in the client area is cleaner than letting it lapse, and it stops the reminder emails. Take a backup of anything you want to keep first — once an account is terminated the data is gone.
