Short answer
Use
mail.yourdomain.co.uk (your own domain) as both incoming and outgoing server, with your full email address as the username. IMAP is port 993 with SSL, POP3 is 995, and SMTP is 465 or 587. Outgoing mail needs authentication turned on.Choose IMAP rather than POP3 unless you have a specific reason not to: IMAP keeps the mailbox in sync across your phone, laptop and webmail, where POP3 downloads messages to one device and can remove them from the server.
The single most common cause of “I can receive but not send” is the outgoing server having authentication switched off.
