Forums & communities questions
2 short answers about forums & communities. Each one links on to the full article and, where there is one, a step-by-step tutorial.
- Can I host a forum on Traxio?
Yes. Forum software such as phpBB, SMF and MyBB runs on PHP and MySQL, which every Traxio account includes. Softaculous can install popular forum software for you in a couple of clicks.
- Which forum software should I use?
Any of the mature PHP forums is a sensible choice: phpBB and SMF have the largest libraries of extensions and themes, and MyBB is known for being approachable. If you’re moving an existing forum, choose one with an importer for your current software.
