Account & billing questions
14 short answers about account & billing. Each one links on to the full article and, where there is one, a step-by-step tutorial.
- Can I cancel my Traxio account?
Yes, at any time, and you do it yourself in the client area — there is a cancel option on the hosting service. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
- Does Traxio offer refunds?
No. Traxio does not give refunds — the 30-day free trial exists instead, so you can test the hosting thoroughly before paying anything at all.
- How do I pay my invoice?
In the client area: open the invoice and pay it by card. Stripe handles the payment. Invoices are £0.99 a month with nothing added — Traxio is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT and no card surcharge.
- What payment methods does Traxio accept?
Card payments through Stripe. That is the only payment gateway — there is no PayPal, no direct debit and no bank transfer option.
- Will my card be charged automatically?
Only if you have saved a card and set the service to renew automatically. During the 30-day free trial there is no card on file at all, so nothing can be taken. You can see and remove any stored payment method in the client area.
- Can I get a VAT invoice?
Invoices are available to download from the client area at any time, but they don’t show VAT: Traxio is a sole trader and is not VAT registered. The £0.99 is the total amount charged.
- Why is my account suspended?
The two common reasons are an unpaid invoice and DNS Guard — the check that your domain is actually pointing at Traxio. The suspension email says which. Paying the invoice, or repointing the domain, restores the account.
- How do I contact Traxio support?
Through the help desk, which opens a ticket in the client area. Support is AI-assisted: an AI answers first and a person steps in when a ticket is escalated. There is no phone line and no live chat.
- Does Traxio offer 24/7 support?
No. There is no phone support, no live chat and no round-the-clock staffed helpdesk — that is part of how the price stays at £0.99. Support is an AI-assisted ticket system backed by a large written knowledge base, with a person stepping in on escalated tickets.
- What can Traxio support actually help with?
Anything only Traxio can do: server faults, platform incidents, suspensions, account verification, abuse reports and billing actions you can’t perform yourself. Your own site’s code, plugins and content are yours to manage — the knowledge base covers those.
- How do I change my client area password?
In the client area, under your account details. This is separate from your DirectAdmin password — changing one leaves the other as it was.
- How do I download an invoice or receipt?
Open the invoice in the client area and download it as a PDF. Every invoice, paid or unpaid, stays available there. Note that invoices show no VAT, because Traxio is not VAT registered.
- What happens if I don’t pay an invoice?
The site keeps running for a few days, then the account is suspended around day 7 and removed around day 14. Once an account is terminated the data is gone and cannot be recovered.
- How much do add-ons cost?
An extra email account, domain, database or FTP account is £0.99 each, paid once. Extra disk space is £0.99 a month per extra 5GB, and extra bandwidth is £0.99 a month per extra 50GB. You add them in the client area.
